|Global Teenager Project Ghana
Global Teenager Project Ghana was launched in September 1999 with only four schools.
Since then, the collaboration has extended to involve over fourteen schools and five hundred students. The primary activity- “Learning Circles”, occur biannually.
Starting in March-May and September-November, and running for ten consecutive weeks, chat sessions allow students to interact globally, and virtually with other colleagues.
A local coordinator or teacher facilitates the Learning Circle activity within each school. Additional activities include giving schools an opportunity to participate in school fairs, certification days to show appreciation to deserving students who took part in the project.
Students and teachers/ learning circle coordinators also organize other Interactive programmes such as symposia, lectures, debates, quiz, as an enhanced learning and sharing extension of the project.
